Edmund Rice Camps WA Gala Ball
Dear Valued Guest,
May I first of all thank you for attending our Fundraising Gala Ball - What Dreams May Come along with your generosity and positivity you created such a fantastic fun evening. In the true “Eddie Rice” spirit, we partied all night and kept the dance floor jumping from start to finish. I hope that like me you were inspired by the stories that Bek, Rae and Robin shared and you will have taken away some personal inspiration from them.
Edmund Rice Camps WA has a uniqueness where as an organisation we are able to engage with everyone and bring out the very best that people have to offer. In doing so we make a positive difference not only in the lives of others but in our own lives. I think it was very fitting all of our key people were represented on the night from Brother Terry Casey, to our amazing volunteer leaders, our wonderful Ambassador Kymba Cahill, community partners, staff and Board members. As Rae so beautifully put it, it takes a village to nurture a child and to give that child the best chance of a safe, positive and fruitful life. I hope that you would have felt very much part of the Edmund Rice Village last Saturday!
The event raised an incredible $30,000 including secured donations for 3 camps. We also sold just over 300 raffle tickets!
Money is important and we are still going to have to look carefully at what we can do leading into 2018. To this end I know that there are people out there who prefer to contribute discretely and who perhaps did not have the chance to make a donation on the night based on what was on offer. If you would like to follow up with me in person to discuss a contribution then please contact me on email@example.com or on 0414441844.
In closing I would like to share this with you.
In the Monsters Inc. film screams generated a bit of energy but laughter and smiles a whole lot more. I think that you all produced a massive amount of energy on Saturday and for this Edmund Rice Camps WA is beyond grateful.
Thank you again for your support,
