General Info

Edmund Rice Camps WA runs a variety of programs for children aged 716 years throughout the calendar year. The children are broken up into four age groups so that they can attend with peers of an appropriate age. The age groups are:

  • YOUNGER KIDS – aged 7-10 years
  • MIDDLE KIDS – aged 10-12 years
  • EARLY TEENS – aged 12-14 years
  • LATE TEENS – aged 14-16 years
  • FAMILIES – all participants and their families

We currently run Mega camps for each age group in January and July, Mini camps on weekends throughout the year, and several day programs and family based programs!  Our Eddie On The Road program also shares some Eddie Rice magic with our rural and remote communities.

All of our camps have a one-to-one ratio of volunteer leaders to participants. This enables us to provide a fun and safe environment for every child; an unique experience that builds self-esteem and confidence, and promotes appropriate socialisation with others.

We take child safety very seriously: our approach won the 2014 Constable Care Child Safety Award in the WA Child Safety Education and Care category.
