TWO EXCITING NEW APPOINTMENTS AT ERCKWA
On behalf of the ERCKWA Board, I’m delighted to announce
that Meghan Huitema has been appointed as our new CEO!
Although the field of applicants for the position was
relatively strong, it became clearer and clearer throughout the evaluation
process that Meg was the standout choice. Not only did Meg seize the
opportunity during her interim role to showcase her skillsets, but she looks at
every facet of ERCKWA with a critical, strategic eye.
Meg's passion for ERCKWA is both inspiring and contagious
and we will no doubt benefit from her vast knowledge and understanding of our
organisation. Most importantly, I believe she will flourish with added
experience in the role, which can only mean that the best is still to come.
It is with great pleasure that we also announce our new
permanent Manager of Community Engagement (MCE), Melissa Raich.
Mel has been an inspiring and dedicated member of our
volunteer team since 2009. During this time she has completed an internship
with the Manager of Community Engagement, taken on several leadership
opportunities and more recently been the coordinator of the Eddie on the Road
program.
