Resignation of CEO Kevin Knapp
25/02/2022
***IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT***
We wish to inform our
network that Kevin Knapp has decided it’s time to step down as our Chief
Executive Officer.
Says Kevin, “After 9
wonderful years it’s time to move on and give someone else with fresh eyes the
opportunity to take the organisation forward.
“Edmund Rice Camps for Kids
WA truly does live and breathe its values, and the focus on individual
formation and support has been a key factor in my length of tenure and feeling
of satisfaction and achievement as CEO.
“I’ve always said that I
would not wish to leave unless I had managed to sustain and, where possible,
build on the great work done by others before me. I am proud of what we have
achieved and I am excited to see what ERCKWA will achieve over the coming
years.
“It has been an absolute
privilege to be part of the Eddie Rice family. Thank you, all, for 9 very
special and above all formative years.
“ERCKWA and the Eddie Rice
family are and always will be part of my DNA.”
Kevin has left a lasting legacy and we consider ourselves
very fortunate to have had the great benefit of his leadership for so long.
During his tenure he often went above and beyond for ERCKWA and his will be
very big shoes to fill.
Kevin has assured us that he will still be putting his
hand up to volunteer on our camps – after a well-deserved break of course!
An immense thank you for everything you’ve done for us over the years, Kevin.
The Eddie Rice spirit is well and truly alive in you.
Tony Manso, Board Chair & The ERCKWA Board
